Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat

Upon arrival, we will warmly welcome you at the airport and embark on a journey first to Casablanca, followed by Rabat.

In Casablanca, you’ll see the city highlights in the form of the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Africa and an architectural masterpiece. Then you will stroll along the scenic Corniche, where you can soak in the city’s coastal charm.

Next, we will proceed to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to marvel at the majestic Hassan Tower and explore the historic Oudaya Kasbah. Afterward, we will escort you to your riad, where you can unwind and relax.

Day 2: Rabat - Chefchaouen

After a hearty local breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Chefchaouen, traversing the picturesque Rif Mountains and passing through charming villages like Wazzan.

Arriving in Chefchaouen during the early afternoon, you’ll have the rest of the day to immerse yourself in the beauty of this enchanting city. Explore the medina’s winding streets, adorned with blue-washed buildings, take lots of selfies, and check out the inviting rooftop restaurants that make Chefchaouen a true gem.

Day 3: Chefchaouen

Today is a leisurely day in Chefchaouen, allowing you ample time to explore Morocco’s most photographed city. Lose yourself in the charm of this blue-hued oasis nestled at the foot of the Rif Mountains. Discover the Spanish-style square, browse through unique arts and crafts stores, savor local cuisine at rooftop cafes, and revel in the natural beauty and tranquility surrounding you.

Day 4: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

After a delicious breakfast, our journey continues as we make our way to Volubilis. Marvel at the impressive Roman ruins and explore this rich archaeological site that provides a glimpse into the past. We will then proceed to the historic city of Meknes, known for its 17th-century heritage. Take in the impressive city walls, visit Bab el Mansour, and marvel at the grandeur of Moulay Ismail’s shrine. Afterward, we’ll head to Fes, where you can relax and prepare for the next day.

Day 5: Fes Sightseeing

Today marks the beginning of your exploration of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco, renowned for its labyrinthine alleys and medieval atmosphere. Our guided tour commences at the Royal Palace gate, followed by a visit to the Jewish quarter (the Mellah) and a historic market dating back to the 16th century. Prepare to be fascinated by the renowned Al Karaouine University, the region’s oldest university, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Enjoy a lovely Moroccan lunch, visit a traditional tiles cooperative, and soak in breathtaking panoramic views of the Fes Medina.

Day 7: Midelt - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll continue your adventure towards Merzouga, passing through Errachidia and Erfoud. The drive will take you through the beautiful Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the stunning Ziz Gorge, offering mesmerizing views of the High Atlas plateau. Notice how the landscape gradually transforms, revealing hints of the desert as you approach Errachidia.

Enjoy a delightful lunch in Errachidia, where you’ll also experience warm Berber hospitality. Afterward, continue your journey along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping to admire panoramic vistas as you travel to Erfoud and Rissani.

Arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon, it’s time for a camel ride across the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. Experience the magic of the desert during an overnight stay at a desert camp, complete with Berber music and the opportunity to try sandboarding.

Day 8: Merzouga

Wake up early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Capture the beauty of the changing desert landscape as the day unfolds. After a camel ride back to the hotel, enjoy a refreshing breakfast and a shower.

Next, embark on a 4×4 tour to explore the caves where desert fossils are found. Follow the route used by the Paris-Dakar Rally and traverse the desert with its intriguing black volcanic rocks. Meet a Tuareg family and experience their culture before visiting the village of Khamlia, renowned for its African population and vibrant music. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 9: Merzouga - Todgha Gorges - Dades Valley - Skoura

After breakfast, your journey continues through Rissani and to Tinjedad for lunch. From there, you can explore either the Todra Gorge or the Dades Valley; both offer amazing natural landscapes and opportunities for fantastic photographs.

In the evening, you’ll reach the Skoura palm grove, also known as the Valley of Kasbahs, where you’ll spend the night. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can stay in the picturesque Dades Valley, known for its raw beauty.

Day 10: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Marrakech

After breakfast at your hotel, your journey continues through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. This route, known as the Way of the Thousand Kasbahs, offers numerous opportunities to capture stunning photographs in the Valley of Roses and the cinema city of Ouarzazate, often called Moroccan Hollywood.

Your next stop will be at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui, a prominent Berber chief. This UNESCO World Heritage site was a crucial stop during the chief’s travels from the Sahara to Marrakech.

Finally, your journey will take you across the majestic High Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic views and passing through charming Berber villages until you reach the vibrant city of Marrakech.

Day 11: Marrakech - Essaouira

Leave behind the vibrant energy of Marrakech as you venture to the tranquil and enchanting city of Essaouira. Known as the “wall” in the Berber language, this ancient citadel on the Atlantic coast offers a peaceful retreat with a rich and diverse history.

As you drive through lush valleys adorned with orange groves and ancient olive trees, you’ll witness the beauty of the Moroccan countryside. A stop in Chichaoua allows for a brief break at Cafe Afoulki, where you can enjoy a coffee or snack.

Continuing on, you’ll encounter the first signs of the renowned Argan trees. These remarkable trees, valued for their nutritional, cosmetic, and medicinal properties, are now protected by UNESCO due to their endangered status. Their adaptation to arid conditions showcases their resilience and significance.

After your morning journey, you’ll arrive in Essaouira, where you can meander through its ancient streets and immerse yourself in its intriguing past. With a distinct Portuguese influence stemming from its period under Portuguese rule in the 16th century, the city exudes a unique charm. Indulge in a delightful seafood meal at one of the local restaurants and perhaps even enjoy a camel ride along the picturesque beach.

Day 12: Essaouira - Marrakech

After breakfast, it’s time to return to Marrakech. As you journey back, take advantage of the opportunity to visit a women’s cooperative specializing in extracting Argan oil. Learn about this valuable oil’s culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal properties, which are deeply ingrained in the local culture.

After several picturesque stops, you’ll eventually reach Marrakech and check into your riad. In the evening, explore the lively Jemaa El-Fnaa square, where magicians, storytellers, musicians, and snake charmers entertain visitors within the bustling medina.

Day 13: Marrakech Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on an exploration of Marrakech, often called the “red city” of Morocco. Visit its historical and cultural treasures, including the stunning Majorelle Gardens, the majestic Koutoubia Tower, the ancient Saadian Tombs, and the grand Bahia Palace.

For lunch, savor the flavors of Moroccan cuisine at a restaurant near the famous square. Afterward, immerse yourself in the bustling souks, where you’ll encounter a mesmerizing array of handicrafts and traditional products.

In the afternoon, you’ll have some free time to discover other facets of the city at your own pace.

Day 14: Free day in Marrakech
