Arriving in Chefchaouen during the early afternoon, you’ll have the rest of the day to immerse yourself in the beauty of this enchanting city. Explore the medina’s winding streets, adorned with blue-washed buildings, take lots of selfies, and check out the inviting rooftop restaurants that make Chefchaouen a true gem.
Today is a leisurely day in Chefchaouen, allowing you ample time to explore Morocco’s most photographed city. Lose yourself in the charm of this blue-hued oasis nestled at the foot of the Rif Mountains. Discover the Spanish-style square, browse through unique arts and crafts stores, savor local cuisine at rooftop cafes, and revel in the natural beauty and tranquility surrounding you.
After a delicious breakfast, our journey continues as we make our way to Volubilis. Marvel at the impressive Roman ruins and explore this rich archaeological site that provides a glimpse into the past. We will then proceed to the historic city of Meknes, known for its 17th-century heritage. Take in the impressive city walls, visit Bab el Mansour, and marvel at the grandeur of Moulay Ismail’s shrine. Afterward, we’ll head to Fes, where you can relax and prepare for the next day.
Today marks the beginning of your exploration of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco, renowned for its labyrinthine alleys and medieval atmosphere. Our guided tour commences at the Royal Palace gate, followed by a visit to the Jewish quarter (the Mellah) and a historic market dating back to the 16th century. Prepare to be fascinated by the renowned Al Karaouine University, the region’s oldest university, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Enjoy a lovely Moroccan lunch, visit a traditional tiles cooperative, and soak in breathtaking panoramic views of the Fes Medina.
After a delicious breakfast, you’ll continue your adventure towards Merzouga, passing through Errachidia and Erfoud. The drive will take you through the beautiful Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the stunning Ziz Gorge, offering mesmerizing views of the High Atlas plateau. Notice how the landscape gradually transforms, revealing hints of the desert as you approach Errachidia.
Enjoy a delightful lunch in Errachidia, where you’ll also experience warm Berber hospitality. Afterward, continue your journey along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping to admire panoramic vistas as you travel to Erfoud and Rissani.
Arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon, it’s time for a camel ride across the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. Experience the magic of the desert during an overnight stay at a desert camp, complete with Berber music and the opportunity to try sandboarding.

In the evening, you’ll reach the Skoura palm grove, also known as the Valley of Kasbahs, where you’ll spend the night. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can stay in the picturesque Dades Valley, known for its raw beauty.
After breakfast at your hotel, your journey continues through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. Continuing on, you’ll encounter the first signs of the renowned Argan trees. These remarkable trees, valued for their nutritional, cosmetic, and medicinal properties, are now protected by UNESCO due to their endangered status. Their adaptation to arid conditions showcases their resilience and significance.
After your morning journey, you’ll arrive in Essaouira, where you can meander through its ancient streets and immerse yourself in its intriguing past. After several picturesque stops, you’ll eventually reach Marrakech and check into your riad. In the evening, explore the lively Jemaa El-Fnaa square, where magicians, storytellers, musicians, and snake charmers entertain visitors within the bustling medina.
After breakfast, embark on an exploration of Marrakech, often called the “red city” of Morocco. Visit its historical and cultural treasures, including the stunning Majorelle Gardens, the majestic Koutoubia Tower, the ancient Saadian Tombs, and the grand Bahia Palace.
