Embark on an exciting journey as we meet you at the port of Tangier and drive through the picturesque Rif Mountains, soaking in the stunning views along the way. Our destination is Chefchaouen, a charming village nestled at the foot of the Rif Mountains. Explore its Spanish-style square with funky arts and crafts stores, rooftop restaurants, and coffee shops. Spend a peaceful night in comfortable accommodation, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
After breakfast, our journey continues as we head towards Volubilis. Traverse through Wazan and other charming Rif villages before reaching the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you’ll explore the fascinating archaeological site and learn about Roman history in Morocco. We then proceed to the imperial city of Meknes, famous for its 17th-century heritage. Take in the sights of the historical medina walls, visit Bab el Mansour, and explore Moulay Ismail’s shrine. Finally, we make our way to Fez, where you’ll spend the night.
Discover the rich history of Fez, the oldest city in Morocco. Wander through its alleys and narrow streets, beginning with a visit to the Royal Palace gate, and the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 16th century. Immerse yourself in cultural and historical sites, including the renowned Al Karaouine University, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Enjoy a panoramic view of the entire medina of Fez before returning to your accommodation.
After breakfast, we embark on a journey to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. Take note of the changing scenery as you pass through the Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, offering glimpses of the desert landscape. Enjoy Berber hospitality and lunch in Errachidia before continuing through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Rissani. Upon reaching Merzouga in the afternoon, be welcomed with mint tea and embark on a camel ride to the desert camp, where you’ll spend the night. Enjoy Berber music and try sandboarding.
Witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Sahara dunes before returning to the hotel for breakfast and a refreshing shower. Journey through the Saghro Mountains and take a short walk through Todra Gorge, marveling at its natural beauty. Admire the wonders of Marrakech, often called the “Red City of Morocco.” Explore significant historical and cultural sites, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. After lunch, stroll through the vibrant souks where you can shop for various handicrafts and local treasures.
